Welcome to the new Navis Photography portfolio. Whether you're familiar with my work or completely new to it, I'd like to take a moment to elaborate on the current direction I took with this portfolio. Over the years, I have photographed an extensive amount of portraits and landscapes and it was becoming increasingly difficult to separate the two styles without overwhelming viewers. With that in mind, I opted to create a new website dedicated to portraits and modified this one to focus purely on landscapes.

Within this new landscape portfolio, you'll notice that there are two categories: film and digital. Film is an ongoing story of a romanticized, bygone, western America shot entirely on film and, under many of the projects there are short stories. These short stories are windows into my beliefs about art, how I function as an artist and human, what inspires me and personal memories of a distant past. The digital projects are landscape editorials captured entirely on… you guessed it… digital format.

Lastly, I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported my work in the past and anyone who will in the future. It's an incredible honor to receive emails from people from around the world who took the time to write me to say that my work has influenced them. As an artist, no amount of money could ever replace that feeling and it's the absolute highest praise an artist could receive in my opinion. I hope you enjoy my new imagery and that it inspires you to go out and create what you love and to experiment, explore and enjoy all facets of life. This new portfolio has been an immense labor of love and it continues to be so and, most likely, will forever be.

From some road in the USA,
